About Veteran Grown Hemp

Rooted in Service, Growing for a Greater Cause

Veteran Grown Hemp (VGH) was founded by Andrew and Margaret Fox of Clarksville, Tennessee. Both served in the 101st Airborne Division and are veterans of Afghanistan. So they are closely connected to the veteran community. But it’s their connection to cannabis that has become the mission, for many reasons. 

Together, the Foxes actively work to serve those who served, and healing through natural alternatives to pharmaceutical drugs like opiates. The reason this is so important is also personal. Maggie had a horrible accident that left her dependent on opioids, and it nearly ruined her life.

Compassionate Medicine

Through personal hardship and service to their country, the Foxes ultimately decided to grow hemp on a 40-acre family farm. As U.S. military veterans, their mission became personal – to create compassionate medicine that helps people heal while giving back to the veteran community. 

Then, through hard work and dedication – two values important in the Army – what began as a search for natural relief became a mission. Today, we are a trusted source for THCa flower, THCa concentrates, D9 Edibles, and premium cannabis products that honor service and support those still fighting their own battles at home.

Changes in TN THCa Law

Due to amendments made to Tennessee law, Veteran Grown has brought new partners on board to ensure our mission can move forward. Since we can no longer package, sell, or ship THCa flower legally in the state, we are also considering a move to Virginia, North Carolina, or even Long Beach, California, in an effort to continue serving their cause.

For the Foxes, being veterans means not backing down when things get hard. Nothing about this business has been easy, but they forge ahead because it’s the right thing to do.
